A rainy night called for some vegan brownies
After scrolling through my feed on instagram and seeing all the yummy food pics made me want to make something to. I found this recepie on google but i'm really bad at following recepies and the result always turns out better when i don't. So this is my own twist at it. It's not very healthy, but really... who cares
VEGAN MOUTH WATERING BROWNIES:
1 batch | 25 mins
2 cups | 4 1/2 dl flour
1 1/2 cups | 3,3 dl white sugar
2/4 cups | 1 dl cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup | 1 dl water
1/2 cup | 1 dl plantbased milk
1/2 cup | 1 dl vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla powder/extract
how to:
- preheat oven to 175 degrees C
- in a large bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Pour in water/milk, vegetable oil and vanilla; mix until well blended. Spread evenly in a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- bake for around 25-30 mins depending on what consistency you want!
FROSTING:
5 tablespoons plantbased milk
5 tablespoons vegan butter
1/2 cup | 1 dl brown sugar (or other sugar of choice)
1/2 cup | 1 dl vegan chocolate
1 dash of vanilla powder/extract
how to:
- combine milk, butter and sugar in a sausepan and bring to a boil; after 30ish sec of boiling remove from heat.
- add chocolate and vanilla and stir until melted ( may have to place it back on the heat)
- pour on your warm brownies!
